Rewrite the gas meter

You signed a lease and are obligated to transfer the gas contract to your name? You can do this in two ways:

The most important thing is to prepare a complete set of documents on the day you receive the keys to your newly rented apartment.

📌 What do you need to prepare?

1. Declaration of selection of a reserve seller (template available for download)

Complete your personal details

Then select a backup seller from the alphabetical list of backup sellers and designate it in the field:

2. Declaration of legal title to the premises (template available for download)

Enter the address of the rental property:

Enter your personal details: In point 1.1, tick that your legal title to conclude a gas supply contract is a lease agreement (option 5): Sign your name.

4. Meter delivery and acceptance protocol (we will provide you with a template for review )

This is a key document for settlements – without it, the contract cannot be properly transcribed.

5. Declaration of tariff group selection (template available for download)

Enter your personal details.

Enter the address of the rental property.

Choose one of the tariffs – they depend on what you need gas for. For individual customers, the most popular choice is Group W. Which situation best suits your rental apartment?

    • W-1: consumption up to 3350 kWh (the only gas stove in the premises)
    • W-2: consumption from 3350 to 13350 kWh (in the premises, tap water is heated with gas)
    • W-3: consumption from 13350 to 88900 kWh (the premises have gas heating)
    • W-4: consumption above 88900 kWh

6. Power of attorney from the person taking the meter reading (you will receive this document from us)

  • authorizes you to take over the gas collection point.

How can I check if the process was successful?

You will receive a confirmation email or (if in person) you will sign and receive the contract immediately.

  • the old contract is terminated
  • the new contract affects your data
  • Gas consumption billing is based on the meter reading from the day of takeover until you move out

The most common mistakes
