Rewrite the electricity meter

Have you signed a lease and want to transfer your electricity meter to your name? You can do so online – simply receive a meter transfer link from us and follow the process (Note: the link is valid for 14 days, after which it will expire).

1. Receive the link via your mailbox and select "No, I don't have an account in Moje Tauron"

2. Enter the address of the rental property and click "Next"

3. Confirm the accuracy of the data 5. Complete your personal details and receive the SMS code 6. Select your residential and mailing address 7. Provide information about the rental property – is it a garage, a house, or perhaps an apartment? Confirm that your title to the contract is a Lease Agreement. 8. Choose a convenient tariff: 9. Confirm that you have read the information clause and select "no" in the micro-installation declaration: 10. Next, you'll select a tariff. If you don't care about additional services, such as technicians included in the electricity price, select the Seller's Tariff. This is an offer without additional services. Enter the forecasted consumption according to your selected tariff group according to the suggested table: 13. Express or deny marketing consents as desired. In the marketing consents section, the only mandatory item is "I confirm that I have read the information clause." 14. Select the required legal consents. Most consents in this section are mandatory to complete the meter transfer process. 13. Click Finish.

How can I check if the process was successful?

You will receive a confirmation email and, after a few days, an electronic contract.

  • the old contract is terminated
  • the new contract affects your data
  • electricity consumption billing is based on the meter reading from the day of takeover until you move out

Let us know you've completed the meter transfer process. Once you receive your contract, you can install the app and receive invoices on your phone.

The most common mistakes

❌ Protocol expiration. The link is valid for 14 days, after which it expires (which results in the termination of the previous contract and removal of the meter)
