Transfer the electricity meter

Have you signed a tenancy agreement and are required to transfer the electricity account into your name? You can do this in two ways:

  • Online Receive a transfer link from us and follow the process instructions. (The link is valid for only 14 days, so make sure to complete the transfer in time.)
  • In person This requires a paper handover protocol / move-in inspection report. (Where can I find the customer service office?)

How can you check that the process was completed successfully?

You will receive a confirmation email or, if completed in person, you will sign and receive the agreement immediately.

  • the previous agreement will be terminated
  • the new agreement will be registered under your name
  • electricity consumption billing will be calculated from the meter reading on the takeover date until your move-out date

Most common mistakes

❌ incorrect meter reading
❌ forgetting to transfer the meter — the handover protocol is valid for 14 days only; after that it expires (which may result in termination of the previous agreement and removal of the meter)
